Strawberry-Banana Breakfast Shake
Ingredients

8 oz 1% low-fat organic milk *

2 oz light all natural coconut milk

2 tbsp organic plain yogurt, whole

1 tbsp organic flaxseed oil

1 tsp xylitol

½ scoop whey protein isolate

½ tsp cinnamon

3/4 cup frozen organic unsweetened strawberries

3" banana, raw

Ice cubes, as needed

Put all ingredients in a blender then mix until smooth. Add ice to make colder and xylitol (natural sugar alcohol) to make sweeter, if desired. If you suffer from lactose intolerance, replace the milk with organic unsweetened almond milk. The yogurt need not be replaced because the yogurt's bacteria naturally breakdown the milk sugar (lactose).
